So outfit wise, I don't have many cute graphic tees which is why I'm so glad I found Boat House. All their tops are such nice quality! They're so simple and a little fun too right? I like how they dress down this structured coat and ankle booties. Makes it seems like I'm not trying that hard, but I look good. These jean leggings from Abercrombie are also amazing/comfy. I'd for sure recommend them, especially if you're petite like me because I always have the best of luck with how they fit. Lastly, camel and grey are in. For me at least, I'm obsessed.

Sleek and Sheer

Really really hate winter clothing and I have so much more spring and summer items in my closet. I easily transitioned these shorts to a winter style by putting tights underneath. Pants everyday are so boring anyways. I love that they're so cleanly tailored with sleek lines. I'm obsessed with this sheer top I just got from Forever 21 too. A little daring but not too much. If you're feeling really scandy layer it with just a black little lace bralette. This quilted jacket always comes in handy on top because the texture's cool and it's freezing in Iowa. I can't wait to not need a jacket or layers though *sigh* but this will suffice until then.

Varsity Stripes

I've been looking/wanting a sweater like this for sooo long and I found the perfect one from Oasap.com! I love the deep V and thick stripes. It's also just super warm and comfy so I'll be reaching for this a lot. PLUS it's on sale right now for under $30! There's a link to the exact one at the bottom with the credits.

I stuck with black and white throughout the whole outfit because classic and simple of course. No need to mess with jewelry really, the stripes are enough. I'm not one to wear heels everyday but some days you can't say no to a good black ankle-strap heel, you know what I mean?

p.s. I try to make Iowa look as glamorous as possible but sometimes there's just nothing you can do. This subpar, dreary, snowy location will have to do this time I'm sorry.

Bher Boutique

A lovely girl from an online store called Bher Boutique recently sent me the coolest sweatshirt! It was just what I needed to pair with my plaid midi skirt. They have the most unique stuff you won't be able to find anywhere else so be sure to go browse her site on Big Cartel!

I've always worn short skirts but lately, lately I have turned to the midis that hit just below the knee. I love the change and they seem to be extremely flattering.There are so many items I can pair it with: sweaters, tees, jackets, blouses etc. I'm really excited. I never thought I would shop at Charlotte Russe but they sure surprised me on this one because it's one of my favorite purchases. For shoes, a plaid and Timbs combo always seems to work and I'm obsessed with how it looks. This would also work really well with heels, depending on the occasion. Yeah I'm feeling really cool in this.
