The Best At Home Teeth Whitening + Giveaway

It's amazing the difference it makes having a smile you feel good about. I've been through many many years of braces and basically every kind of orthodontic procedure you can think of to have straight teeth (sorry mom and dad). Now it's just a matter of keeping them pearly white! Which is very hard to do when there are things like coffee, wine, tea, and pop--which lead to staining. Anyone else use apps to whiten their teeth in pictures in high school? Lol, never again!!

Now, I've used whitening gels in the past and was happy with the results but was super excited when Smile Brilliant reached out to me to try their product because I've seen such amazing results from people who use it! As mentioned before, it's easy for the white to fade and mine were in need of a refresher. Not only was I very satisfied with the results, their whitening process is so easy and could not be more convenient (especially instead of going to the dentist for the same kind of professional teeth whitening-- you are saving time and money and whitening teeth at home!) They send you a kit, you make the impressions yourself, send the molds back in, and about a week later you receive your custom fitted teeth whitening trays! Like, if I can do something without even leaving my house, I'm 100% down for it.
*Side note* I was basically scarred for life after my experiences as a child having impressions made at the dentist so I was a littleeee nervous to do these. Surprisingly, it was not bad at all. So if any of you are in the same boat as me, don't worry, you'll make it!

If you have questions about the process or anything I'm more than happy to answer them! You can check out their other teeth whitening reviews too!

Summer in Tobi

It is hot hot hot out there and off the shoulder styles and crop tops are keeping me cool (figuratively and also literally). I can't complain about the heat though because like 99% of the time I'm complaining about being cold. If you didn't know, I recently moved to Texas. Everyone keeps telling me the heat is unbearable and I will soon be dreading it, but I beg to differ. I'm thriving and I could soak up the sun allll day long!

Summer is the cutest time: pool days, pretty flowers, meals out on the patio, puppers everywhere. I could go on and on. Hope you all are enjoying these lovely summer days as much as I am!

Check out a handful of my new favorites including some great finds from Tobi!

Jord

Whoops, time got away from me. 4 months later and I'm back with a new post in collaboration with Jord wood watches! Just in time for Mother’s Day though, right? This would be the perfect gift. I recently moved to a new city by myself and I LOVE IT but also miss my family, friends, and especially my mom!  She was actually just here in Texas visiting me and we had the cutest time exploring and shopping around Dallas. Nothing beats time with that cute girl! She also took these pics, shout out to you mom.

So let me get into a quick review now. Amazing quality! The wood look is so unique and very well made. I found that it goes with so many things and is the perfect touch for any outfit. I’ve never really worn watches before but I’m getting into them lately. They even sized the band to fit my wrist perfectly which was a hugeee plus because nothing ever fits my tiny little wrists. I’m always a sucker for nice packaging and Jord’s did not disappoint. Basically I could set it out in my living room as d├ęcor (which can be seen in the last picture). Also, you can engrave the back of the watch or the box with a special message! So cute. Stop.

P.S. if you’re thinking about buying one for yourself you should definitely enter my giveaway here! Winner gets a $100 gift code and even if you don’t win, everyone who enters automatically gets $25! Win Win.

On Repeat

Long coat, graphic tee, denim, and good boots. I will wear different versions of this everyday throughout winter.

As far as fishnets go, I haven't decided yet if I'm going to look back on myself wearing them two months from now and be really disappointed in myself or if I'm still going to be wearing them two years from now. Only time will tell I guess! I'll get back to you on the verdict.

The Look

Ahh, the time has finally come. I graduated college! I can't tell you how happy I am that I will never have to take another final or walk to class in 5 degree weather again. Like I'm really happy. I'm not sure exactly what's next but I'm really excited about some new opportunities. Also, I finally have more time to dedicate to creating some cool content!

We have entered into the season where I wear turtlenecks nearly everyday. Although cold weather is not my thing, tucking my hair into the turtlenecks I have to wear is. Also, ok this is my new favorite thing: wearing jackets off my shoulders. Maybe you've seen it maybe you haven't, but I'm so into it.

Shades of Grey

Sweater of my dreams, HELLO! I will survive the winter months because of you. But seriously, I've been wanting a huge knit like this since last year and I finally got one thanks to StyleWe! If you've heard of them lucky you, but if you haven't, you're welcome for this because I'm obsessed with them. They're an online retailer that features independent fashion designers; a lot of very unique items and a pretty cool concept. They also frequently have sales, just FYI.

I love the idea of layering over dresses lately. Opens up some new options and sooo cozy.

Trench

In case you haven't heard I won American Apparel's #AAINDENIM contest and they sent me a $500 gift card and it was the best day of my life. I still get worked up about it. I went shopping there the other day and got some really great stuff including this turtle neck that I swear is the best turtleneck that's ever been on my body (Check my Insta for the rest of my haul coming soon). Equip that turtleneck with a camel trench and this girl is ready for fall. I'm really not ready at all but I'll look ready I guess.
