Pretty in Pink

Transitioning into spring with a fuzzy pink sweater and bright whites! A very cute combo that perfectly mixes slouchy and sleek lines. The texture of the sweater is too comfy. It's so much more fun than a basic knit! The asymmetric detail of the shorts add a unique touch but are still everyday-wearable. I made it casual this time by pairing them with a sweater and tennis shoes. It can also be dressed up for a night out with a tank and heels!

Spring Fever

This week I teamed up with Oasap to talk about spring dresses! Finally no more pants. I am in such a happier mood with the warmer weather.

The shape of this A-line dress is my favorite! Fits well and flares out just the right amount at the waist. You can never go wrong with it. Fun brighter colors are a must for spring time. I added cute little pink socks to bring out some of the pink in the dress and just because they're cute. And if you're wearing a dress with a jellyfish print, you might as well just wear 5 inch cleated platforms too.

March Mod

A sleek crop top, extreme high-rise jeans, and simple white heels. So mod chic. The only thing that could have made this outfit better is pairing it with this AMAZING peach textured jacket. I can't get over this texture. Such a refreshing color to soften the look up. Also works perfectly to transition things into spring. If you know me, you know I live for tops with cool backs. Clearly why I had to get this T-back one. The architectural detail is simple but enough. You'll probably be seeing these jeans again because I've been wearing them too much probably. But they're perfect! The super-high rise style is surprisingly extremely flattering and I love not having to fuss with a low rise waist sometimes, you know.

I'm sporting another pair of sunnies from one of my fav companies FREYRS. They're seriously too cool.

The Boyfriends

Ok, new favorite jean style. Perfect for those casual, relaxed days. I love how they fit and they're actually comfortable. I had been looking for the perfect pair for forever and once again, I purchased these from Abercrombie. They never disappoint me with the perfect denim! They also have a lot of cool colors and styles to choose from right now. Such a nice change from skinny jeans everyday.

Now let's talk about my top. Quilted crop top. Obsesseddd. Such a subtle look but it adds just the right amount of texture to your outfit. I could wear quilted everything. I paired it with a blazer to finish off my signature mix of casual dressy pieces. And all my jewelry is courtesy of Rocksbox! If you haven't heard of them, it's this amazing jewelry company that sends you a box of hand selected pieces that you can wear for as long as you want and then return them in exchange for new ones! It's like Christmas everytime I get one now. You can use my code valerierenaexoxo for a FREE month of this! So FREE jewelry for a month!

Joggers

How to wear sweatpants without looking like you've lost control of your life:

1. Joggers. They've been in style for awhile now and I'm still loving them. The slim fit is flattering instead of baggy and frumpy like regular sweats. I feel much better about myself in them.
2. Pair with a nice jacket. I went with leather because it adds an edgy-chic vibe. A blazer would also be a nice touch to dress it up. Unexpected pairings usually pay off.
3. Cool shoes. I'm obsessed with "street style" and can't get enough of incorporating tennis shoes into my everyday looks. These New Balance's are always my friends.
4. Have a nice structured Bag. The black leather bag goes perfect with my jacket. It gives structure to the comfy joggers so it looks like you know what you're doing.

Also, I'm super excited about my recent collaboration with FREYRS. They have the coolest sunnies you'll ever see and they're all around $11. Seriously. Check them out.
